This masterplan development of 426 houses and 60 apartments (in 2 blocks) formed a major component in the regeneration and re-branding of Beswick, East Manchester.

The aspirations of the development were to create a residential family environment that encompassed the vibrancy and freedom of aesthetic seen in much of the city of Manchester’s recent renaissance.

This was fulfilled by providing flexible open plan living, natural light penetration to the depth of the plan and a pallet of quality modern materials.

Producing identifiably modern family houses with the benefit of secure communal parking and play areas with generous private garden spaces.
High quality public realm, with traffic calmed streets featuring street trees and landscaping zones, were key to the success of the development.
