Beswick, Manchester

The aspirations of the development were to create a residential environment that encompassed the vibrancy and freedom of aesthetic seen in much of the city of Manchester’s recent renaissance.
This was fulfilled by providing flexible open plan living, natural light penetration to the depth of the plan and a pallet of quality modern materials.

Identifiably modern family houses have the benefit of secure communal parking and play areas with generous private garden spaces.

The development comprises 426 houses and 60 apartments (in 2 blocks) to Code For Sustainable Homes Level 3.

The houses utilise SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) technology manufactured off site and erected in a very short timescale, allowing ongoing internal trades to continue while rainscreen claddings are applied externally.

Micro, Combined Heat and Power units are installed in each home combined with whole house ventilation with heat recovery.
