Bowker Sadler is a RIBA chartered, award winning practice based in Greater Manchester, designing and delivering exciting and inspiring multi sector projects across the country.
Operating from a beautiful Grade II Listed building in South Manchester, we offer a collaborative approach that provides a supportive and friendly environment for individuals to develop skills and progress their career.
We are currently looking for highly skilled people to join our friendly team to help deliver technical projects from Planning Stage through to New Build delivery and Refurbishments. You need to be highly skilled, enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong eye for design and detailing that can be applied across various sectors.

Current Vacancies
Education Sector – Project Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist – The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 year’s post qualification working in the UK.
- Be registered with the Architect’s Registration Board or CIAT or hold an equivalent international professional qualification.
- Experience in Priority Schools framework and Department of Education Output Specification.
- Strong design and detailing skills for a variety of projects, from school extensions, refurbishments, SEND specifications and large scale new build developments.
- Project delivery using Revit software (BIM L2 beneficial) and knowledge of NBS.
- Familiarity with the CEM process. Proven ability to collaborate with contractor teams within the Department for Education.
Principal Designer – Building Regs and CDM – The ideal person will have:
- Evidence based experience of a Design, Project Management, Building Control, Clerk of Works or other Health and Safety role within the construction industry.
- Experience of working with and implementing the requirements of The Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislation 2023, including HRB’s and the Gateway process.
- Strong interest in health and safety issues and risk management.
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach.
- Ability to influence the design team and other project team members.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to get on with others.
- High ethical standards and commitment to compliance with regulations.
