Before joining BSA, Mike has worked for several award winning practices in the north west over the last 25 years, all of whom are recognised for their design led approach and commitment to quality.
His work experience covers a variety of sectors including housing, healthcare, master planning, landscape and urban design.
He believes that a collaborative approach is key to the design process, from initial ideas and feasibility right through to detailed design and construction. Good communication with clients, the design team, end users and the wider community are, in his view essential to help foster effective working relationships throughout the life of a project and beyond.
Mike also teaches at Manchester School of Architecture, where he has been a studio tutor for the last 5 years.
