This projects is ground-breaking private house in Northumberland. The house is a PPS7 development which requires exceptional, innovative, quality design of residential properties in rural areas.

This building is an exemplar which incorporates the very latest in sustainable technologies and design. The structure is timber and constructed from sculpted shell forms made from green oak which are formed from using timber gridshell technology.

This will be one of a handful of buildings in the world constructed using such technology. The scheme is designed to blend with its setting and the immediate landscape around the house is sculpted to form a lake on which the building sits.
